Housing Trends... in Real Time

The following charts powered by Altos Research provide the best pulse reading for housing market trends today. The metrics are based on current listings activity in local markets across the U.S. These national charts are a composite of 25 major national markets and correspond to the national home price index tracked by Radar Logic. Use the index drop-down box to change the national coverage to match the markets in the Standard & Poor's Case-Shiller 10-City Index. The Altos metrics have been shown to be highly correlated to these housing futures indices, but the Altos metrics reveal the trend 90 days ahead of the indices.
